Local Farmers' Markets & CSA Programs in Montgomery County, Maryland

Milk Lady Markets connects local farms and neighbors through welcoming farmers' markets, CSA programs, and community food initiatives across Montgomery County, Maryland.

Who We Are

Founded in 2011 by Gigi Goin, Milk Lady Markets began as a small neighborhood farmers' market with a simple goal: make fresh, local food easy to access and enjoyable for everyone.

Over time, we’ve grown into a trusted network of farmers' markets and community food programs serving thousands of families each week. While our markets have expanded, our focus has stayed the same—supporting local farms, strengthening small businesses, and creating spaces where neighbors feel welcome.

What We Do

Farmers' Markets

We manage multiple farmers' markets across Montgomery County, featuring fresh produce, baked goods, dairy, pantry items, flowers, and seasonal favorites from small regional farms and makers. Our markets are designed to be friendly, dependable gathering places that neighbors return to week after week.

CSA Program

Our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program offers flexible options that fit real schedules and household needs. Members can enjoy curated seasonal boxes or shop with CSA credits through our online market, bringing local food into their kitchens with ease.

Food Access Programs

We believe everyone deserves access to fresh, nourishing food. Through programs like Double Dollars, we help SNAP customers stretch their food dollars while supporting local farmers and producers.

Why It Matters

When you shop at a Milk Lady Market or join our CSA, your food dollars stay local. You support small farms, family-owned businesses, and a resilient local food economy.

Our markets also serve as public spaces—places where neighbors connect, children learn where food comes from, and communities grow stronger around shared meals and shared values.

Our Approach

We focus on long-term relationships, consistent operations, and thoughtful program design. Rather than chasing trends, we invest in systems that last—so farmers can plan ahead, families can rely on us, and local food remains a steady part of everyday life.
